21 Savage has always been one to pay it forward. In his latest act of giving, 21 Savage has partnered with Chime to encourage high school students to become financially literate. To accomplish this goal, the Atlanta native and the financial planning platform have teamed up to create a series of free online financial literacy courses geared toward Gen Z. In addition to offering online courses, high school students will also have the opportunity to apply for $1,000 grants that can be applied to their educational endeavors.
“We’ve partnered with 21 Savage’s Leading By Example foundation and Everfi to award another 100 $1,000 scholarships to high school students across the country. Level-up your financial literacy with lessons in banking, budgeting, credit scores, and more. All while giving high school students a chance to bump up that college fund,” a statement from Chime reads.
This is not the first time that 21 Savage has partnered with Chime to support the next generation of change makers. Previously, the GRAMMY winner worked with Chime to offer a number of grants to high school students. More recently, 21 Savage worked with Chime and muralist George Baker to revitalize a basketball court in his hometown.
