If there’s any question of how 21 Savage is doing this year, he just answered it. In a tweet this morning, the Atlanta rapper let fans know that he is pretty excited about his success this year. Despite not dropping a new solo project in 2018, 21 Savage has managed to reach one billion streams this year. This year, the rapper has found himself on Travis Scott’s Astroworld, Metro Boomin’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes, Gucci Mane’s Evil Genius and the soundtrack for Creed II. Most recently, he appeared on “Pay You Back” off of Meek Mill’s Championships album.

21 Savage will likely add to his massive streaming success with the release of his new album. 21 Savage’s sophomore album is set to be released next Friday along with A Boogie’s Hoodie SZN. The new project from the Atlanta rapper is set to feature big names such as J. Cole, Childish Gambino, Post Malone and many more. In addition, 21 Savage will get help on the production end from Metro Boomin’, TM88, Southside and more. Not to mention, 21 Savage will likely also be featured on Offset’s solo album that is scheduled to drop on Friday, December 14th. Either way, it’s safe to say that 21 Savage has had a great year and it’s only going to get better.
