The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards set to take place on February 9th 2020 in Los Angeles. This year’s nominees are headlined by Parasite and Joker. The Joaquin Phoenix led film earned eleven nominations including Best Motion Picture. Meanwhile, Parasite earned six nominations. However, the 2020 Oscar nominees are lacking in racial diversity. Nineteen of this year’s twenty acting nominees are white.
