President Donald Trump has won the state of Alabama. Thus far, much of the presidential election has played along party lines. Trump has won Republican strongholds like Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden has emerged victorious in Democratic backyards like New Jersey, New York and Maryland. However, things appear to be getting dicer as we move further west.
Midwestern states like Ohio and Pennsylvania are very much up for grabs. Not to mention, Pennsylvania will likely not count all of their mail-in ballots before the end of tonight. Further west, Texas appears to be a tougher race than many expected. Biden has a slight edge ahead of Trump as votes continue to come in.
As expected, the results of the most hotly contested presidential election of the century will likely not be finalized until the wee hours of the morning.
