And just like that, we have another festival lineup. Having a slew of festival options to choose from on the east coast, the 2019 Roots Picnic is just over 2 months away. Announcing a packed lineup, a big change has also come about for this year’s festivities.
Receiving a change in location, the 2019 Roots Picnic will take place at The Mann at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA. Going down on Saturday, June 1, H.E.R. and 21 Savage will take on headlining duties. Ari Lennox, Lil Baby, Blueface, City Girls and more will also be taking their talents to the stage for the weekend showing.
Even more of a treat, The Roots will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Things Fall Apart album by performing the LP in its entirety with special guests.
For those interested, tickets go on sale for the 2019 Roots Picnic on Friday, March 15.
