The NBA has officially released its 2019 Las Vegas Summer League schedule. This comes only a day after an eventful NBA Draft that saw a number of prospects meet their new teams. The action in Las Vegas starts on July 5th with a marquee matchup as Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans will face off against RJ Barrett and the New York Knicks at 9:30 PM.
Per NBA.com all games from the Las Vegas Summer League will be broadcasted on the ESPN networks and NBA TV.

Williamson and Barrett won’t be the only lottery players from the Duke Blue Devils that will be able to showcase their talent. 10th overall pick Cam Reddish of the Atlanta Hawks will be able to distinguish himself outside of former teammates shadows.
Sadly, number two overall pick Ja Morant won’t be active in Las Vegas. The Grizzlies new floor general had a minor knee procedure and Memphis will be cautious with him.
To clarify, Morant had a minor surgical procedure on his right knee three weeks ago. He says he's pretty much recovered but the Grizzlies are opting to be cautious with him, as they should. https://t.co/D5FOs8vMrA

Morant won’t be the only one missing the summer league. According to Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, 5th overall pick Darius Garland won’t be suiting up for the Cavaliers this summer. The team is taking a cautious approach for a player that missed almost all of last season at Vanderbilt.
The Summer League will go through July 11th with quarterfinals tipping off on July 13th. The final two remaining teams will face off in the championship on July 15th. With so many high profile talents playing in Las Vegas this summer, it will be intriguing to see which one is able to lead his team to a Championship and which 2nd round and undrafted prospects could steal the spotlight.
