The NBA is back once again with the Team USA vs Team World format for the 2018 Rising Stars Challenge. Since 2015 the new format for the game has drawn some interesting results with Team World winning two out of the last three contests.
Back again for another run at the game is first-time NBA All-Star from the Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid, Sacramento Kings sharpshooter Buddy Hield, 2017 Rising Stars Challenge MVP Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year form the Milwaukee Bucks, Malcolm Brogdon.
Among the first time attendees to this contest are current Rookie of the Year favorite from the Philadelphia 76ers Ben Simmons, the Chicago Bulls duo of Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen and Boston Celtics wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Also heading to LA for their first All-Star experience are New York Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina, Dallas Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr and Lakers rookies Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma.
