It’s finally all over. After 11 straight days of hoops that produced 82 televised games, the 2018 Las Vegas NBA Summer League has concluded. NBA Fans were able to get our first glimpse at some of this years top picks like, DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley, Jaren Jackson Jr, and Trae Young. Then we had players like Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Young Bull Collin Sexton make some noise for their respective franchises.
However second year player Josh Hart stole the show claiming NBA Summer League MVP with a stat line of 22.4 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 2.3 app through 7 games. Sadly for Lakers fans, it wasn’t enough to bring home the title as his Lakers lost to the team they beat in last years NBA Summer League Finals, the Portland Trailblazers led by KJ McDaniels.
