The 2016 NBA Summer League showcased the NBA’s younger talent in Las Vegas and they put on a show. With some players battling for a roster spot and some looking to prove their value based on where they were drafted, the competition was great. Number 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Ben Simmons, put on a passing display (maybe too much passing for some), D’Angelo Russell looked to rebound from his forgetful summer league last year, all while being blessed with quite a few buzzer beaters. 2016 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas will definitely rank at the top. While there might be other summer leagues in Orlando and Utah, the Summer League is the premiere event. With just about every NBA team participating and getting coverage from both ESPN and NBAtv, there were a bunch of talents getting a lot of screen time.
