The VMA’s have become an awards show that you simply can’t miss. Whether it’s Kanye interrupting award speeches, the reuniting of boy bands from the past or scantly clad artists on and off stage *cough* Lady Gaga, you simply must tune in. This year did not disappoint. Let’s take a gander at the celebrities that hit the nail on the head and some that are clearly missing some tools from the box.
Selena Gomez in a gorgeous Atelier Versace gown with a thigh high split and an exposed bustier took my breath away!
Taylor Swift wore a bodycon deep plunge Herve Leger dress with classic pin curls that made her pin up worthy.
Katy Perry was glowing in a long sleeved, leopard-print Ungaro dress with gold embellishments. Anita Ko earrings and black and gold Celine shoes.
Danity Kane reunited donned in black and white coordinated outfits.
J. Hud kept it simple but stunning in a strapless leather dress with a houndstooth-print bustier and get this, she had on over 400 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds!
Iggy Azaela wore a form fitting jaw dropping Pucci beaded and mesh dress.
Naya Rivera was dressed to kill in a floor length black dress with a side cut outs and a handful of Marina B rings.
Now to the stars that got stares for all the wrong reasons.
Erin Wasson wore a completely sheer Alexandre Vauthier dress and a head wrap. I don’t get it.
Jordan Sparks in what I can only imagine was a track suit skirt and top. Just confusing.
Lil Kim wore a laser-cut Leather bodysuit by Anthony Latimore. Why she wore it, I have no idea. Apparently it also had some…rear cutouts.
Sarah Hyland in a Marchesa dress that appears to be the Iron Man suit if Iron Man..was a woman.
Miley, Miley, Miley… the worlds newly inducted ratchet wore vintage Dolce and Gabbana. And a furry onesie… Keep on twerking Miley, I guess.
Rita Ora had on an Alexandre Vauthier crystal bodice dress with a very loooong feathered train. I like the concept, but it looks like she was dragging around someone’s carpet.
And lastly good ol 2 Chainz ended up being dressed like female co-host Grimes, in matching Versace pants. 2 Pants?
