In an era where the shelve life for most new acts is less than that of a NFL running back, 2 Chainz has found a way to reinvent himself more than once. From his days as Tity Boi to his reemergence in 2012 to his most recent album, the Atlanta native has shown time after time that he is a survivor. Most recently, 2 Chainz has reinvented himself yet again with one of the more imaginative roll outs for any artist this year.
Led by the A&R efforts of LeBron James, 2 Chainz has released his first project of 2019 called Rap Or Go To The League. The new project from the Atlanta legend comes with a long list of features that includes Kendrick Lamar, Lil’ Wayne, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Kodak Black and more. When releasing the album, 2 Chainz stated, “With the height of racial tensions across America, I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brain washing formulas used in my community.” He later added, “This album not only touches on those who did succeed thru entertainment, but [also] those who didn’t.”
