2 Chainz may have just put out the best project of his entire career. His latest project, Rap Or Go To The League, is both commercially appealing and socially conscious. In addition, his latest album comes with contributions from some of the biggest names in all of music. Throughout the project, we hear from Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande and many more. While it’s not official yet, it appears that this will likely compete with the Jonas Brothers album for the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts next week. To close out the week of his album promo, 2 Chainz stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about the album.
Charlamagne Tha God got things going by telling the Atlanta native, “This is your best album. It’s not even close.” Later on in the interview, 2 Chainz expands upon what LeBron James role in the recording process was. He also touches on what LeBron James favorite tracks from the album were. 2 Chainz explains that as an A&R, James favorite tracks were “2 Dollar Bill”, “Whip”, “NCAA”. “Momma I Hit A Lick”, and “Threat”.
