Last night was a major night for releases in the world of rap. At midnight, we were given new projects by Rico Nasty, Nas and Jay Rock. With all that was going on, 2 Chainz decided to put his hand in the pot and let his voice be heard. Alongside Drake and Quavo, the Atlanta icon released his new single, “Bigger Than You”.
The record features production from !llmind and Murda Beatz and a hook from Quavo who raps, “Uh, yeah, baller alert, lil biddy b*tch on caller alert/Uh, yeah, follow alert, go get the fire when I’m callin’ ’em merked/Uh, yeah, have to come first, I whip the baby, the baby gon’ birth/Uh, yeah, I bought a ‘Claren, I bought a ‘Claren, didn’t wanna buy percs, uh/This shit b*gger than you.” Drake makes a quick statement when says, “Young champagne checkin’ in, man, Tity Boi sh*t ringin’ off/’Member I was on pre-paid, I would act like my sh*t was ringin’ off/’Member shorty told me she thought the raps good but the singing’s off/Watch on Young Dro now, man, boi-oing shit blingin’ off.” 2 Chainz closes off the record by letting you know, “Touchscreen on my cars, vintage one to two/I just bought a watch that’s plain like a Dickie suit/I sip some red wine, and chased it with the ’42.”
