Moziah Bridges, who founded Mo’s Bows, has entered a licensing partnership with the NBA for his company. He is an inspirational teen entrepreneur who started this Memphis-based company in his own home with his mother and grandmother. It all started when he and his mother Tramica appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank when he was 12 years old. He left an overwhelming impression on Daymond John, who made the decision of investing in Mo’s business. He utilized his connections and network to elevate Mo’s company to new heights.
John went on to speak highly about his experience and revelations after meeting Mo and his mother.
“When I do deals in Shark Tank and in business, I always look at the person first, and when I first met Mo and his mother in The Tank, it reminded me so much of my mother and me. Here was a young man with a great vision and a mother with a strong business sense that was able to keep him grounded. Having both sides of the business equation is always key.”
Lisa Piken, NBA Vice President of Global Partnerships elaborated on the decision of this partnership between the league and Mo’s Bows.
“Moziah’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit are an inspiration, and we are thrilled about the launch of the Mo’s Bows NBA Collection. We are always looking for ways to diversify our merchandise offerings and cater to our fashionable fan base, and couldn’t be more excited that fans will have a fun and unique way to show support for their favorite NBA teams.”
