This report has been confirmed by Sports Illustrated. Furthermore, Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel confirmed that the Heat will participate.
The Las Vegas Summer League, founded in 2004 by Warren LeGarie, is the NBA’s main offseason competition. Starting this Summer, every NBA team will participate in the Vegas Summer League. The Utah Summer League has a long history but has only existed in its current form since 2014.
The Sacramento Summer League will replace the Orlando Pro Summer League, which will not take place this summer for the first time since its inception in 2002.
