The Apes Saga Continues.

The final trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes has dropped. War for the Planet of the Apes pits Caesar’s community against a full blown military invasion. Woody’s Harrelson’s colonel character strikes a very divisive, leave no prisoners tone in regard to the apes. Pontificating that the soldiers children will view them as weak if they do not exterminate the apes. While on the contrary, Caesar is making the case for unity amid crisis. War for the Planet of the Apes looks to build upon Caesar’s empathic story arc from the previous films. In which, Caesar has always understood there’s more to humanity than what is visible on the surface.  The film is directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). War for the Planet of the Apes is due in cinemas on July 14th. The full synopsis is highlighted below.

Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless colonel (Woody Harrelson). After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both of their species and the future of the planet.
