Last night, the Golden State Warriors came into their home game against the Los Angeles Lakers as 17 points favorites, according to Las Vegas. Unfortunately for Lakers fans and Mychal Thompson, the game was no where near what Vegas predicted.
That 17 points was more than enough for the Warriors as they went on to trounce the Lakers, 111-77 and the 34 point margin is their second biggest margin of victory this season behind their 50 point win over the Memphis Grizzlies earlier this season.
Golden State dominated the Lakers in every aspect of the game. They hit nine more three’s, turned the ball over less, shot the ball better and outrebounded the Lakers. It was simply a beatdown by the NBA’s best team.
The Warriors are dominating teams this season with a scoring differential of 15.6 points per game, holding opponents to 29 percent shooting from three and 42.4 percent from the field overall.
The Warriors are dominating, so it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy what could be the best team in the last twenty years.
