Some players need to get their legs a little bit warmed up during the first quarter, while some players are extremely energized at the start of the game. Russell Westbrook definitely falls into the latter part of these two categories. No matter what point the game is at, he will always rise up and throw down magnificent slams.
In the Oklahoma City Thunder’s away battle against the Detroit Pistons, Russ showed us just how high he can take off. He drove right be Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and ran towards the basket at Marcus Morris. Morris thought about challenging Russ, but wisely didn’t as he rose up and threw down the hardest slam dunk I think I have ever seen a point guard throw down.
