The Washington Wizards must be very thankful to the NBA schedule makers. On Wednesday, the Wiz hosted the NBA’s best squad in the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry completely snapped for 51 points against D.C.’s finest and John Wall in particular. Wall put up over 40 points of his own but the Dubs just decimated the Wiz. The Wizards next game was on Friday against the NBA’s worst team in the Philadelphia 76ers.
John Wall didn’t slow down on his recent hot streak since the start of December in 2015. Wall went off on the Sixers for 18 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists despite the game being out of reach midway through the second quarter. Wall stayed in and helped the Wizards fight off a pesky, young 76ers team.
In total, Wall played 33 minutes on the night shooting 7-13 from the field making 3-5 three-point attempts as the point guard continues to prove why his selection to the 2016 NBA All-Star team was warranted.
