Jabari Parker wasn’t able to play in the 2015 Rising Stars Challenge due to an injury that ended his rookie campaign midway through. His torn ACL sidelined him until November of 2015 and this season he’s performed pretty well for the less than stellar Milwaukee Bucks.
Last night, Parker had his first chance to compete in the Rising Stars Challenge and while he only dropped 12 points he did shoot 6-10 on the night and he tied for the most minutes played on Team USA. He also threw down nasty slams in the game including a windmill slam and a posterizing jam on Kristaps Porzingis.
While Parker’s scoring output didn’t not really change the outcome of the game, he made some big plays to help Team USA win the 2016 Rising Stars Challenge.
