Hassan Whiteside is at it again. The Miami Heat center racked up yet another triple-double in the Heat’s 98-95 win over the Charlotte Hornets. This time, the big man did it while coming off the bench.
Whiteside narrowly reached the marks by putting up ten points, rebounds, and blocked shots. He did so in only 27 minutes of play, during which the Heat outscored the Hornets by seven points.
Whiteside is an unrestricted free agent this summer and will be looking to get a huge pay day. He is well on his way after this performance adds to an already impressive statistical season, which has seen him lead the league in blocked shots.
The effort was Whiteside’s third triple-double of the year and the fourth of his career. It was also Whiteside’s fourth game in which he blocked at least ten shots, the most in fifteen seasons.
