Vic Mensa. That’s a name you might have heard before but just might not be 100% familiar. That’s ok because the rapper/singer is working hard and continues to build a buzz as he becomes another promising addition to the future of Hip-Hop. In a day and age where co-signs from some of Hip-Hop’s most elite can go a long way, Vic has found backing from the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West and has even went on to sign with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label during Summer 2015. Most recently, the creative has dropped tracks like ‘U Mad’ and most recently, ‘Danger,’ and continues to convey many sides of himself. Now, to kick off his 2016 on a high note, the rapper has finally dropped a visual for his 2015 record with the amazing Skrillex, ‘No Chill.’With an emphasis on creativity and self-expression, the video, which was shot in Tokyo, Japan, is filled with vibrancy, colors, and declarative action of living life to the fullest. To say the least, the accompanying visual embodies the lack of chill that the tune expresses. Looking to propel even higher, there’s much more to look forward to from Vic Mensa in the coming months ahead. Until then, get more familiar and check out the ‘No Chill’ music video, below.
