The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, The Peoples Champ just doesn’t stop. Back in the late 90’s early ’00’s The Rock set out to be the most electrifying man in entertainment and he’s surpassing that by far. 2015 was a very strong year for The Rock and 2016 looks to be no different. Currently, he has a few movies on the way — one being Central Intelligence with Kevin Hart — and HBO’s “Ballers”, but Dwayne is here to with two new announcements.
First we have the newly announced show “Boost Unit”, which he’ll be producing. “Boost Unit” will be inspired by the intensity “Fast & Furious” brought to the movie world and based off of “the real life individuals who make up one of the most bad ass (and underground) street units of the LAPD.” Secondly, Dwayne announced his upcoming documentary with HBO, “Rock And A Hard Place”. This documentary will bring you “a look at one of the most hard core and successful boot camp prisons in the world” Dwayne tells his Instagram followers.
While “Boost Unit” has no release window yet, “Rock And A Hard Place” will premier this May. Below are the announcements and comments of the show and docu straight from The Rock.
