According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is starting work on a live action reboot of the animated classic ‘The Jungle Book’.
They have hired writer Justin Marks to write the script.
This isn’t Disney’s first time to give a cartoon a modern twist. ‘Alice in Wonderland’ made a cool $1 billion globally in 2010, and the studio is working on ‘Maleficent’ starring Angelina Jolie that is set to hit theaters on July 2, 2014.
‘The Jungle Book’ is still missing the “bear necessities”. There are no producers attached and they are currently looking for a director.
