Harlem’s own Jay Pres does it again. Taking a familiar approach but somewhat not always successful by the individual, Pres is taking to popular beats and classics to showcase his skill and lyrical prowess.

Here we have ‘MAC’. Yes I know what you guys are thinking, why the cosmetic name? Well his latest project Sephora followed the same approach. By using make-up companies, Jay Pres is using that as a metaphor for him “covering” the hot tracks and classics.

What beats did he use, well the tracklist is self explanatory which highlights the classic beat. Prior to the release of MAC he delivered a visual for Dead Presidents. Check that out and then listen to the tape below.
