After the bad loss to Miami and Roy Hibbert stinking up the joint to “Thabeet” proportions. (Bill Simmons said on countdown that Hibbert is like Hasheem Thabeet)
It’s time for Indiana to get it together now. It’s getting tragic. For OKC, now that San Antonio have locked up the league in terms of record it’s all about synching in the 2nd seed and keeping note of if they’re playing the Mavs or the Grizzlies (Suns are out because Dallas beat them last night).
So… On to the game. Even though the two teams have half decent records it was surprisingly a little boring the first half. Partly because the refs lengthened the 1st quarter because CJ Watson took a buzzer beating 3 but stepped out with .2 seconds to go and they had to review it.
Just writing that made me want to cry.
Anyways, the game finally picked up in the second quarter as Durant did his usual thing and dropped 38 overall. But the amazing bench play by CJ Watson (20 points, 4-7 from 3) and the league leading 5th triple double by lance Stephenson eclipsed Hibbert’s 0 points and pushed the Pacers over the Thunder.
The battle for the no.1 seed is looking like its going to go down to the final game of the season.
The Heat have the Wizards and the Sixers. While the Pacers have Orlando for their final game.
Playoffs are looking good.
