It appears SoundCloud is looking for ways to step it up and compete with an already hefty list of competition. With streaming slowly taking over how people consume and access music and relate-content, SoundCloud found itself being one of the remaining outlets that allowed people to access content for free, all in a matter of a few clicks. Starting their year off strong with the announcement of a partnership with Universal Music Group, the service has took things up a notch and has officially launched SoundCloud Go.
Introducing #SoundCloudGo. Offline listening. No ads. Even more tracks. First 30 days free: https://t.co/31gizm5Ohyhttps://t.co/u3eB8Lw2Ht

Sharing similarities to the free version, SoundCloud Go, of course, has it extra perks that may sway users into paying $9.99 a month. Along with the access to various stations and 125 million tracks and more, SoundCloud Go offers an even more expanded catalog, an ad-free experience, and will now offer offline capabilities that will allow for music to be listened to without the usage of data. If that information alone isn’t enough to make you drop almost $10, SoundCloud is offering a thirty day free trial that will grant you the ability to test the limits of the newly-birthed venture. In what seems to be an attempt to revamp, this looks to be only the beginning for what’s in store. To learn more about SoundCloud Go, you visit their website, here.
