As they promised, TDE is looking to make 2016 just as great as they did last year with the projects that released for Hip-Hop fans. With albums from Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock already available for consumption, the team is looking to keep the ball rolling and are starting things off early. Released in February of 2014, it’s been almost two years since the release of Schoolboy Q’s third studio album, Oxymoron. Things are looking to be kicked back into motion as Top Dawg took to Instagram to drop off just want fans of Schoolboy Q have been more than patiently waiting to hear.
From the quick clip, it sounds like Schoolboy is not hesitating to come out with guns blazing for his new musical journey. With the title of ‘Groovy Tony,’ the groove ends there as he spits with the same passion that is notable to his sound. If there was any doubt or indication that the rapper may have fell off, all talks of that can officially be put to rest. With no official release date mentioned, one can guess that the new tune will arrive much sooner than later.
