Sometimes, MLB teams will go to no extremes when it comes to promotions for baseball games. There are classics like ‘Star Wars Night’ or the throwback to a certain genre all in attempts for fans to come to the game and enjoy their time with family and friends.
In the case of the San Fransisco Giants, they enlisted the help of some of their top players as well as one famous uncle to help bring everyone back to a time of predictability. A time with the milk man, the paper boy and evening TV.
The Giants enlisted the help of some of their stars to re-create the classic introduction to the 80’s sitcom, Full House. Fittingly enough, the setting of the show was in San Fransisco and the team is also having a ‘Full House Night’ on September 30th so this absolutely had to be done.
Now there are some classic scenes missed like the family ride over the Golden Gate Bridge, the ride through San Fransisco on the trolly and no one playing little Michelle but for the most part, the guys killed it. From the picnic scene to the zoom over San Fransisco’s AT&T Park and even a cameo from Uncle Joey himself, Dave Coulier, this has all the looks of ‘Full House’. Perfect timing as well, seeing as a reboot of the show is set to begin soon.
