It’s true…all that glitters is (worth) gold. Fashion & textile designer Sadie Williams collaborated with & Other Stories on a holiday collection that’s designed to make heads turn. Dressing down doesn’t fit this season and Sadie made sure that won’t happen to you. A collection inspired by early constructivist Rodchenko and folky shapes lead to a collection dominated by textiles and geometric forms. All this London-based designer really did is find fun and affordable ways to shimmer this season. This 19 piece collection consists of sweaters, skater dresses, midi skirts, silk blouses, socks and silk tops all in or with the combination of the colors white, red, black, blue and silver. Making it look extremely cohesive. Also dominating this collection is the amount of metallic details and the A-line shape. You don’t even miss the lack of fitted pieces and cut-outs because you’ll be struck by the art included in most of the designs. Also remarkable is the contrasts included like the shimmering textures paired up with fuzzy wools, sporty shapes pop with glittery details and chunky snap buttons play down the silky tops. Embracing a contemporary fusion of folksy silhouettes, vintage sportswear and metallic glitz all under $250.
