Could a new documentary featuring Rihanna be in the works? If reports hold up to be true, that just might be the case.
2016 has already proved to be a busy one if you’re Rihanna or even a fan of the singer. Premiering a new single and album in the same day, continuing her Puma partnership, launching a brand new world tour and so much more, Rihanna has found herself working non-stop, but for good reason. As with most fans, they want a behind-the-scenes look at the ins and outs of the daily lives of their favorite artists that help captivates and captures just how everything comes together before being presented in its final form. Well, Rihanna may be revealing that and so much more as it’s being reported that the Pop star will be starring in an “unfiltered” documentary about herself, backed by Peter Berg.
Per Film-45:
“Follow this true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman, and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom. Peter Berg’s Rihanna is an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists.”
After 8 albums and everything in between that comes with it, a documentary of about the star is right on time. As the ‘Woo’ singer has previously worked with Peter in their “Battleship” film, the chemistry should be there to bring even more out of the singer. One thing that’s for sure, we’ll be tuned in whenever it makes its arrival.
