It’s album season if you’re the famous hit-maker man known as R. Kelly. Less than two weeks ago, R. Kelly, once again, released his brand new body of work in a month that was jam packed with highly anticipated releases, including his own. Titled as The Buffet, the surrounding campaign and promotion for this album has been a bumpy ride, if you let R. Kelly tell it. Previously going on record and sharing his distaste for how the album hasn’t been promoted, along with mentioning that fans of R&B music should be out and buying records just as much as Pop fans, it goes to show that the ‘Ignition’ singer is still more than passionate and eager about all aspects of his music. In support of The Buffet, the R&B icon stopped by HuffPost Live to sit down and talk about the new project and answer fan questions. Well, the interview took a turn for the worste when the interviewer asked the singer what he feels when people think of his past lawsuits and sex with minors instead of firstly thinking of his music. Automatically going on the defense, the interview then turned into a more hostile moment via both parties. If there’s anything to say, we can bet our last dime that R. Kelly will not be returning to HuffPost Live any time soon. Check out the interview, below, and watch thing take a shift at the 7:48 mark.
