La La Anthony’s New York Times bestseller “The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness” is being adapted into a film by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment and Codeblack Films, as reported by Variety. Latifah and Codeblack, a division of Lionsgate, are partnering to co-produce and co-finance a series of films, starting with a movie adaptation of Anthony’s book.
Anthony will also executive produce the project through her LaLa Land company.
“The Love Playbook” was published in 2014 as Anthony’s way of offering insight and advice to women about dating, love, and marriage in the form of a playbook. Anthony’s acclaimed book will now be brought to life as a movie.
