While many like myself are awaiting Meek Mill’s highly anticipated project DC4, Meek has obviously been hard at work on additional endeavors. As we know Meek is all about that PUMA life and it has been announced that the two have come together for a new collaboration.
Looking to motor its way into retailers this month of July, Meek has teamed up with PUMA on two of their models, the PUMA Blaze of Glory and the PUMA Basket. This is the first of two upcoming releases from the Philadelphia native.
Per PUMA, here is a brief description of the upcoming release;
Sporting an all-white iteration with premium materials the PUMA Blaze of Glory and PUMA Basket each stand out with quilted material details and patent leather hits. The shoe is inspired by Meek’s love for motorcycle jackets and preference for superior patent leather footwear. Consumers also have the chance to personalize their pair with two lacing options, one with patent leather and the other a classic cotton take.
It’s good to see Meek getting back to work after a short detour that sidelined him for a while. Look for each sneaker to debut this July 15th at the new PUMA Lab Powered by Footlocker at Roosevelt Mall in Philadelphia. Look out for a world wide release to take place July 22nd. Check out the detailed pictures provided by PUMA and down in the comments let us know if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
