Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George is expected to miss six to eight weeks of offseason activities after undergoing a successful left knee scope, the Thunder announced Wednesday:

A knee arthroscopy, or scope, is a procedure in which a small camera, or arthroscope, is inserted into the knee in an attempt to diagnose or treat a problem in the knee.

George was diagnosed with knee soreness in December, but only missed one game.
