I’m pretty sure that when you think “Obey,” graphic t-shirts and hoodies come to mind. Also, you might think “men’s clothes.” It’s true that their women’s line has taken a backseat to the more popular menswear. But this coming Fall, the brand is ready to push their womenswear to the forefront. Packed with bombers, leather jackets, and knits, the line will still keep on with the graphic embellishments that the brand is known for.

The upgrade comes by way of Obey’s new head women’s designer, Grace Lee.
“We don’t want to compete in the fast fashion world and join that race to the bottom. We offer really well-and-fairly-made pieces that speak to the culture we live in.”
With street style still a flourishing trend (one that I think is going nowhere any time soon), Obey couldn’t have chosen a better time to enhance it’s womenswear. It’s most recent retailer is Nordstrom, with Revolve Clothing, Pacsun, and specialty boutiques also carrying the line. Fans can expect a more feminine, punk rock touch to the coming collection with the brand getting back to its edgier roots. How does patches on denim, ringer tees, and leather sound to you?
