In the lieu of announcing everything possible like: Jessica Jones gets renewed for a second season, a Judd Apatow show titled Love, The Defenders series, Daredevil‘s second season will start March 18th, Luke Cage series is coming this year, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 2 on April 15th, and there’s a Iron Fist series coming in 2017. So yeah, Netflix is looking get all your streaming sites out the paint, expeditiously.
Oh, and, The Defenders is already in production.
And to pile on, the streaming service debuted a teaser for the hit show Orange Is The New Black. If you’ve been watch all the seasons (like me) then you can tell we are in for a doozy of a season.
Here’s what series creator Jenji Kohan had to say:
“The theme thing was hard this year,” she said. “We start with political agendas, the corporatization of the prison, the stratification of people into their little mosaic groups. We want it to be a surprise, but [you can expect] all the fun stuff like race and hate and some things from current events that we wanted to filter through our lens.”
