There’s much to be happy about if you’re a fan of the Country Grammar rapper, also known as Nelly. Selling millions upon millions of records across the course of his illustrious career, these days, Nelly is looking to make his presence known even more across our television screens. Via press release, it has been announced that the rapper and actor has signed a deal with Fox News 1. If that wasn’t enough to be excited about, the star will be joining Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and Joy Taylor on the forthcoming Fox Sports 1 television show, “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.”
Per press release:
“I can’t wait to reunite with my man Nelly,” says Bayless. “Seven years ago he was the first rapper we ever had on my former debate show, and he was a revelation. He can debate sports with the same passion, guts and clever creativity that he writes and performs his classic music. He and I share this: we think we’ve never lost a debate. Nelly was made for UNDISPUTED on FS1.”
“I’m really excited to join FOX Sports and work with Skip, Shannon and Joy to discuss all the sports topics I love,” says Nelly.
Exciting new all across the board, fans of Nelly can expect the actor/rapper to feature as analyst on the show, which airs on November 1 at 9:30 AM EST.
With such a notable impact on Hip-Hop, it’s great to see Nelly still spreading his wings and tackling other ventures. If one thing is for certain, we will be tuning in to see Nelly do his thing.
