Apple Music is coming out the gate swinging to ensure that its streaming service is a success. As if a Drake co-sign isn’t enough, the company is partnering with MTV to bring forth the nomination for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Slightly shifting it’s focus to the radio aspect of Apple Music, the nominations will announced via Beats 1 “Charts” show.
What we can tell you, is to tune into the Beats 1 “Charts” show on Apple Music, hosted by Brooke Reece and Travis Mills, at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 21, where the nominees will be announced.
At 11 a.m. ET, right after the broadcast, you can visit vma.mtv.com to begin voting for all VMA categories and then you can officially go ahead and get pumped for another massive, star-studded night.
As the VMAs show is set to take place on August 30, 2015, the nominations are just in time in what is sure to be a competitive show this year. Interestingly enough, one can infer that this is just 1 or many further Apple Music/MTV collaborations to come.
