The hottest group in Atlanta has linked up with the biggest rapper in the world for a big surprise. This afternoon, the frequent Atlanta-Toronto connection was renewed for the release of their video for “Walk It Like I Talk It”. In an interview with Angie Martinez, comedian Chris Rock described the Migos as “funky” and that is the best way to describe the vibe of their newest visual output. The five-minute video is an ode to the classic show Soul Train with cameos from Drake and your favorite trio of Atlanta trendsetters wearing 70’s inspired outfits.
“Walk It Like I Talk It” was most recently featured on the Migos’ #1 album, Culture II, which features the likes of Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. The group has not announced an official tour for the project, but is slated to make an appearance at the Broccoli City Festival in the nation’s capital next month.
Drake is looking to make some noise of his own this year. Earlier this month, the Toronto native announced that he was working on his next album. Last week, fans got a taste of his work when snippets of a track featuring himself and Lauryn Hill leaked on Twitter. Most recently, the Canadian rapper was featured on the remix of the Rihanna assisted N.E.R.D single, “Lemon”.
