Michael Bay isn’t done with the immensely-successful Transformers movies yet. A fourth installment of the Sci-Fi series is on the way.
While the next movie will surely contain all of the robots and high-tech cars as the previous editions, there will be one major difference.
On his official blog, Bay posted the announcement that he has cast Mark Wahlberg for Transformers 4. Wahlberg will replace Shia LaBeouf as the lead actor in the new movie. Here’s what he had to say about the switch:
An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy.
The highly-anticipated film will hit theaters June 27th, 2014. Still no Megan Fox again, sorry fellas.
