Malcolm Brogdon was the 36th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft and he has clearly proven to have been overlooked by many teams. He is currently averaging 10.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game on 46% shooting while making over 40% of his three-point attempts. He has started 26 games this year and has built a strong case as a Rookie of the Year candidate. To add some icing to the cake he also dunked on both LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in the same game which has never been done before.
Brogdon’s nickname amongst Bucks teammates is “The Prez.” The Bucks intended on campaigning for The Prez’s ROY candidacy but he insisted otherwise. He told the team that he would prefer they donate the money instead of promoting his season which has been extremely helpful for the team. As expected, they’ve obliged to his wishes.
Nice sentiment here from the @Bucks and Malcolm Brogdon. pic.twitter.com/v2lpUxwJTy

This act reveals a great quality in Brogdon and it shows how mature he is, especially at a young age. He is much more focused on the season at hand and with his playoff debut around the corner, he doesn’t want any distractions.
