Lonzo Ball is having himself one hell of a 2017, so far. The former UCLA Bruins star point guard lit the college basketball world on fire with his stellar play through the 2017 NCAA Tournament and then declared for the 2017 NBA Draft. Since the end of his March Madness, it’s been a whirlwind of media and publicity, partially thanks to his father, LaVar.

LaVar declared so many things about his son and the ‘Big Baller Brand’ company, most notably that Lonzo was the best player in the draft. Just last week Lonzo and his father announced the ‘Big Baller Brand’ shoes were dropping with the ‘ZO2 Prime’ and ‘ZO2 Wet’ both priced at $495 and $995 respectively. Also, they are selling $220 slides. Yea, that’s real.

Despite the drama he might be going through, Lonzo Ball still found time to have some fun heading into the 2017 NBA Draft. Lonzo joined the likes of Kobe Bryant, Damian Lillard, Iman Shumpert and Lou Williams as NBA players who also like to rap. Will he be as successful as Lillard or Metta World Peace or will it be a one-off for fun like Kobe or Andre Drummond? Only time will tell. But he does have some serious bars.

Lonzo announced the song yesterday on his Instagram page. He spit a verse over the Drake song ‘Free Smoke’ from the playlist ‘More Life’. You can listen to the bars below, courtesy of DC The Don’s soundcloud page.
