Los Angeles Lakers Assistant General Manager Glenn Carraro has resigned after being with the Lakers for 17 years, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical:
Lakers assistant GM Glenn Carraro has resigned, league sources tell @TheVertical. Carraro had been with franchise since 2000.

Carraro joined the Lakers in 2000 and was promoted to assistant general manager in 2012.
Carraro’s resignation comes a month after the Lakers hired Rob Pelinka as new general manager.
His resignation also comes just two weeks after the Buss family feud was settled, with Jeanie maintaining control of the franchise after ousting her brothers.
The Lakers’ front office looks very different now than it did at the beginning of the season; Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss have been replaced by Pelinka and Magic Johnson. Carraro is the latest long-time Lakers to go.

With Carraro gone, his position is now vacant. The Lakers have the option of promoting somebody from the inside or hiring a new face. The latter seems more likely, given the recent changes to the Lakers
