After spending his past seven seasons in the NBA, Kevin Seraphin will be returning to Europe with Barcelona. He signed a two-year deal, the club announced.

Last season with the Pacers, Seraphin averaged 4.7ppg and 2.9rpg. His best season in the NBA came in the 2012-13 season with the Wizards where he averaged 9.13ppg, 4.38rpg in 21.8mpg. Seraphin seemed to be a rising role player off the bench during his Washington days but couldn’t find any traction on the Knicks or Pacers.
In addition, Seraphin also a senior member of the French national team in 2011, where France reached the finals and eventually lost to Spain.
Seraphin is the clubs sixth signing of the summer, joining Thomas Heurtel, Adrien Moerman, Pierre Oriola, Sergi Martinez, Phil Pressey, and Rakim Sanders.
He is third frontcourt signing of the summer, as the club is clearly looking to retool the underwhelming frontcourt they had last season. Seraphin will look to resurrect his still young career and has a great shot to have an impact on Barcelona if he continues to work on his game.
