As the days roll on by, we are getting closer and closer to the release of Kanye West’s highly anticipated studio album. Tentatively titled, WAVES, the rapper has worked up the appetite of fans who are wishing that the album turns out to be his best music to date. Going on record and stating that the LP will be one of the greatest albums ever, the pressure is on for the creative genius to deliver. In what comes as rare Kanye fashion, in recent years, the rapper finds himself gracing the cover of a highly respected magazine in support of the album. Nabbing the honor is none of than Rolling Stone magazine. Taking to Twitter, the rapper not only revealed the new magazine cover, but also shared that the featured image was shot by fellow creative, Tyler The Creator. As of now, there is no word if Kanye West sat down for an interview with the publication as Mr. West isn’t too fond of media and how his words can be taken out of context in those type of situations. For now, it’s great to see the rapper being more sociable and more open ahead of his new album. Whether it is a marketing ploy or genuine is for you to form your opinion on. The Rolling Stone magazine will be available later this month on February 25th. Be sure to pick up your copy!
Update: Well, that was quick. In a change of plans, and a slightly awkward moment, Rolling Stone magazine informs up that Kanye’s new “cover” is not an official cover of theres.
While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone https://t.co/2c3ZWpaorN
