During the Washington Wizards’ Monday-night contest against the Milwaukee Bucks, guard Matthew Dellavedova was issued a flagrant-two foul and ejected from the game for his foul against Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal. After the game, Beal’s backcourt-mate John Wall spoke out against Dellavedova. From Chase Hughes of CSN Mid-Atlantic:
“I feel like he’s a dirty player,” Wall said. “Whatever they’re [sic] team and people say and other people can vouch for him, to me I always thought he was a dirty player.”
Wall noted that Dellavedova’s foul could have led to Beal suffering a concussion.

Bradley Beal also took issue with the foul:
“There’s no place in the game for that,” Beal said. “It’s the difference between making a play on the ball and wrapping your arms around somebody’s neck.”
As did Wizards head coach Scott Brooks:
“It should never happen. Those plays should never happen,” head coach Scott Brooks said. “It’s a professional respect that you want to play with.”
