These days, the goods news surrounding J. Cole’s name and his latest album only continues to roll in. Releasing his fourth studio album, 4 Your Eyez Only, the rapper has went on to officially land his fourth consecutive no. 1 album on the Billboard Top 200. With the album generating millions of listens, it’s only right that certain records on the body of work are being deemed as early favorites among listeners. Because of this, J. Cole has now earned his first top 10 single on the Hot 100 chart as “Deja Vu” makes its debut.
Beating out his previous top 20 single, “Work Out,” as his highest charting tune on the Hot 100 chart, J. Cole’s “Deja Vu” landed in at no. 7 this week. With the record being home to familiar production that sparked “beef” between producers due alleged stolen sounds & “Deja Vu” being recorded before Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange,” it all works out as J. Cole hits another career milestone. Once again, congratulations J. Cole!
