“The Daily Show’s” Hasan Minhaj, who made headlines as last year’s entertainer at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, is inking a deal for a politically charged weekly talk show.

The new Netflix program, which the media company announced Thursday, will be the first weekly comedy talk show hosted by an Indian-American.

The still-unnamed show will “explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity,” according to Netflix.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Netflix family as the country braces for another election season,” Minhaj, 32, said in a statement. “And like you, I cannot wait to find out who Putin picks this time.”

Netflix says Minhaj will continue as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” until July before gearing up for his show. A launch date has yet to be announced.

As the Correspondents’ dinner’s headliner last year, Minhaj roasted President Trump, who famously broke tradition by skipping the journalist-filled f te.

“I get it, I get it. We got to address the elephant that’s not in the room,” Minhaj told the dinner audience.

“The leader of our country is not here,” Minhaj said. “And that’s because he lives in Moscow. It is a very long flight. It would be hard for Putin to make it.”

This year’s Correspondents’ dinner performer also has a Netflix connection – comedian Michelle Wolf landed her own talk show with Netflix in a deal announced last month.
