Gap has a big reputation for recruiting big stars for their clothing campaigns. Recently, the clothing brand recruited rapper Wiz Khalifa and ‘Black-ish’ star Yara Shahidi.
For their fall campaign, Gap spiced things up a little bit by bringing on rapper Future and pop icon Cher. For their final installment of “Meet Me in the Gap”, they add the unlikely pair as faces for the campaign.
One of the biggest shockers coming from the campaign though is that both artists have never met prior to the campaign shoot. Cher said in a press release that she “didn’t know who Future was before this [campaign].” She also said how she is excited to work with someone completely different than her.
“Gap is not only bringing two cultures together but bringing everyone together through the music and the style. It’s really about everyday people,” said Future.
While Gap has always been big in bringing together cultures, this ad campaign is something bigger than both celebrities. Check out the full TV ad featuring Cher & Future below.
